InvestED 50+1 Gala & Auction Recap

Saturday, May 02, 2015
6:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thank you for supporting the 50+1 Gala and Auction
benefiting students in need.

Because of the generosity of sponsors and donors

we raised more than $100,000 for InvestED programs to encourage students

to get to school, stay in school and graduate from school.

We are grateful to our Raise the Paddle donors who helped us

meet the $20,000 match from the Thompson Family Foundation. Well done!

The theme of the evening was +1:

For every $35 we raise, 1 more student in our state gets the immediate help they need.

Thank you to the Thompson Family Foundation for also matching our +1 donors

who helped us raise an additional $3,200 for our state's secondary students.

.We were so pleased to have the opportunity to recognize and say thank you to three people
instrumental in the passage of the Seattle Seahawks special plate legislation benefiting InvestED:
Marcie Maxwell, Governor Inslee's Senior Policy Advisor on Education, Lt. Governor Brad Owen
who provided entertaining remarks on the process, and Mike Flood, VP Community Relations
for the Seattle Seahawks  - "teaming up to support students statewide".

Thank you to the Roosevelt Jazz Trio and DJ Leslie for making the evening special

and to our volunteers for making it successful.

You can continue to be our +1 by:

- spreading the word about InvestED

- by considering joining our board
